Job Description

As the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, overseeing the sales team, and developing strategic sales initiatives. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in achieving sales targets, expanding market share, and establishing our company as a leader in the industry. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with business goals and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.


key responsibilities

Develop and execute the overall sales strategy, including market segmentation, target customer identification, and revenue forecasts. Collaborate with the executive team to align sales goals with the company's strategic objectives. Continuously analyze market trends and competition to identify new opportunities and refine sales approaches.

Build and lead a high-performing sales team by recruiting, training, and mentoring sales professionals. Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to drive individual and team success.

Drive revenue growth by setting ambitious sales targets and implementing effective sales processes and methodologies. Monitor sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to maximize sales productivity and efficiency.

Oversee sales operations, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM utilization. Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop sales enablement materials, including sales collateral, product presentations, and competitive analysis.

Collaborate with the sales team to identify and prioritize key accounts. Work closely with account managers to nurture and grow strategic customer relationships. Engage with key decision-makers, understand customer needs, and provide tailored solutions to drive customer satisfaction and retention.

Develop and implement sales performance metrics and KPIs to measure progress toward sales targets. Regularly analyze sales data, pipeline metrics, and conversion rates to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges. Prepare and present comprehensive sales reports and forecasts to the executive team.

Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, customer success, and operations. Ensure close alignment between sales and other departments to drive cohesive go-to-market strategies, product enhancements, and customer-centric solutions.


requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.

Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably within the software industry.

Strong understanding of software sales cycles, market dynamics, and customer acquisition strategies.

Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams, including remote and distributed teams.

Strategic mindset with a keen ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
